
I don't think there is "one shoe fits all" for this situation.
The friends on the picture above live in Victoria, BC where they deal with grades every day. Yet on this San Francisco street they were afraid to open the door, because that might tip the car ;)
Same with campers. When I had my camper on the flatbed, the top AC was at 13 ft above the pavement. Even I log long hours on boat ramps, I don't think I would attempt to make Uturn with this set up.
Than duallies offer wider tracks, what helps a lot comparing to SRW.
Front hitch is a solution, but I found it too much hassle for the benefit.
That said, I have friends that always ask me to back their boat.
