Another vote for the DRZ400 - I have a 2003 model that I bought new - fits me well after I added a set of handlebar risers - that 2 inches of extra height really makes a huge difference when standing on the pegs - which I do a lot in the dirt. And I'm 6'4" 220 pounds. I transport it on a trailer now but when I first got it I carried it on a "Moto Jack Rack" receiver mounted carrier. That worked until I bought a bigger camper with more rear overhang - the receiver mounted carrier would have overloaded the rear axle of the truck. The DRZ happily hums along on the freeway at 70 mph and also does well in the dirt - at least in the casual way I use it.
