I just sold both of my KLX 400's. It's the same bike as the DRZ400. In my opinion, they were absolutely the best combination of on/offroad at 300#'s. We are switching gears and will eventually buy 2 KLR 650's because we don't do as much dirt riding as we used to so, the KLR is a little better oriented for the highway at 450#'s or so. They have a reputation for reliability and are definitely not expensive at around 6K new. BTW, we put around 10K miles on each bike and never had a repair bill. Maintenance only.
