Truck Camper Cost

I bought my 1969 Avion C-11 camper in 1983 as a package deal from my grandfather. I really wanted the K-30 dually truck that it sat on so I didn't give much for the camper. I got many years of use out of the truck and sold it for a 1994 Dodge 4x4 dually with a Cummins engine. I have no idea what my initial cost of my camper was since it was a package deal, but lets say I paid $1000 for it. I rebuilt it and put it on a trailer that I built. I have about $15,000 in both not including my Honda 2000 generator or my solar setup. So, total I have $17,000 in the entire rig. I have no idea what I could sell the camper for since most folks won't pay for upgrades, but I won't sell it anyway so it really doesn't matter. What I do know if that I can't buy anything that will do what my rig will do for anywhere near that amount of money. The key with an RV is to enjoy your time. In my opinion, my rig is priceless for me and my family and those memories can't be replaced.
