Other things to consider is this going to be your daily driver? If so, then a dually might be little of pain. Some do it without a hitch. I could, but I wouldn't. Mine is a dually and I love the stability and safety however it is pretty much dedicated to hauling the TC. If my truck was my daily driver then I would go single wheel 3500. Have to consider a short bed with a non slide model.
I may be mistaken but not sure that a mega cab has the same capacity or is possibly not recommended for a truck camper.
