No, Grit is right. He said there are actual differences between the GM and Ram 3/4 and 1 ton trucks. It is simply wrong information...The parts, brakes, frame are the same.
Ford, GM, and Ram all do this....adding different wheels, tires and rear suspension to create the gap. Nothing more.
Although we are starting to see some changes with different equipment...such as with the Ram they are derating the engine output with your transmission choice. Then again...the ecu/tcm applies torque management to the higher rated trucks to keep the trans and other parts together.....
