Don't get ahead of yourself here. For all you know there won't be any issues. There is no sense in getting all worked up and making changes to a new truck before you know what you actually need.
As others have recommended: Tailgate OFF. The camper will almost certainly interfere with the tailgate cables anyway, preventing you from having on there at the same time as the camper.
