It might depend on how far you are willing to travel. I drove north 1 state to Oregon and saved a lot. Dealer pricing is whatever they think will get your attention. If it's on a dealer lot, trying to delete options already installed in hopes of recovering/deducting the price won't yield much. Your best value would be to order with your wish list of options and travel to pick it up. You can do some solar and a small Honda/Yamaha generator for half the cost of the onboard Onan. I only negotiated on our camper from the manufacturer and settled on a price we thought was fair. Good luck!
