Truck Camper Speed
yWhen I down sized to a small TC,I kept my speed on the hiway the same 65,was curious to see if others did the same. seems Im passed a lot,but mostly by 5th wheels and MH.

55mph, when towing in California...and as State highway funds/fees continue to be redirected to non-highway (social) programs, roads are in disrepair. In fact, coming up Hwy 5 from Bakersfield, the highway so bouncy I nearly lost a rear tie-down...California, the once 'Golden State' (LOL)...
I hear you man, I was there in May and I noticed it also. After I got out of Kern county headed toward Cambria I noticed the roads were a little better. It was My first trip with a truck camper lol, And I was driving a F150 , After the windstorms between Bakersfield and the G Canyon I took an Oath to myself And God, I asked God to help me make out alive and back to Oklahoma and Id buy a larger truck. Well I made it home and bought me a larger truck. If I can learn how to post pics on here Ill show you guys what I was driving.
