From my Lance Camper Owners Manual...... Page 27 On The Road ,Safe Driving Rules
" Drive at moderate speeds allowing for adverse highway and wind conditions. Even under the best of conditions,do not exceed 55 miles per hour. As speed increases ,driving stability, stopping ability, ability to make emergency maneuvers are greatly reduced."
From the horses mouth.
Thank you Sir, Im glad you posted that. I drive about 55 myself. Number one when I take a vacation its to get away from the rat race, And I like to slow down and enjoy it. And I think its deeply Irresponsible of people who are speed demons to try to say someone driving 55 is the cause of a wreck because somebody else is speeding and A-s ends them. If you don't have time to stop then you need to increase your following distance. Thats the law! And if they dont abide by it and rear end someone its the speeders fault and not the other way around. If they hit me from behind They will be buying me a new Dodge Diesel and a Truck camper and maybe more. I wish they would lower the limit back to 55. Thats the biggest problem these days is everyone is in to big a hurry in all aspects of life. People need to calm down and enjoy life. Relax a little.
