If you're going to a 2500 you might as well get a 3500 SRW. It's no bigger, not really any more expensive, but generally gains several hundred pounds to 1,500 pounds in the payload department. Weight adds up fast. When you add people, pets, water, propane, gear, fuel, camper, tongue weight, truck accessories, fire wood, etc. you'll be glad for a 3500.
My truck camper and boat in tow put me 1,600 pounds over the GVWR of my dually.
X2 If you are seriously thinking a 2500 truck. Just go with a 3500!!
