Anyone that has gone there lately ,will campgrounds be open? Or are there walmarts or cracker barrels within an hour,looking for overnight suggestions for this late in the season thanks. Taking a trip...

There are Walmarts in both Brattleboro VT. and Keene NH , one west and one east of TCW about 10 or 20 min.. If all else fails the Vermont Welcome center just south of Brattleboro is open 24hrs . It is on the north bound lane of I-91 so you would have to go an extra exit south and do a U-turn .
We were up there in September and there is no longer a Walmart in Brattleboro just Keene

I seem to recall seeing a sign in this keene walmart parking lot about no overnight parking.
