Cool, never saw that product. Probably worth the extra $200 for someone who doesn't want to deal with the gory technical details. I really enjoyed the learning experience with this.
The cost could really come down with a different router and antenna. I bet you could bring it down to $150 easily.
Both my wife and I have Asus laptops so in the future i'd like to use the 19v dc-dc converter to create a charging port for our laptops and to power the router. I would need to go with a higher output converter though. The one I have would do the router and 1 laptop OK (theoretically). Anyway, that's part of the reason i went with the Asus router (not that anybody asked lol).
