I hadn't forgotten about Six-Pac, but as was mentioned, they're not producing campers these days. Also looking at used.
The bathroom doesn't work for me because in the small package I'm looking for (8'), the bathroom takes up a lot of the interior space which I'd rather have for, well, interior space. Weight is also an issue, since the primary use will be traveling backcountry dirt roads in Baja. I currently have a Callen camper shell, which is about the same size as a cabover camper, but it's empty inside. With wife and new child, it's time to move up a level in amenities. Given the tendency to high, variable winds in the area, a pop-up is not preferable. Having said that, if I came across a good deal on a 4-Wheel Grandby, I would be sorely tempted.
I almost pulled the trigger on one of the new 4-wheel Grandby flatbed models, but then decided that I didn't really want to spend $30k right now. So I'm back to scouring the used market.
Some friends had a Lance without a bathroom, but they got rid of it after 15 years of off-road abuse, and don't remember the year. If anyone out there has some amazing trove of information about years they were available, or other options, keep 'em coming!
