After looking at the pic an vid, I would say you might have a floatation problem, not a 'too-big-TC' problem. I have worked on this with my TC and put super singles on the rear which can be deflated down as low as 20 pounds and the fronts also. This is why i stuck (no pun intended) to 16" wheels. I have successfully run the dunes with my TC. Here is a pic of me on endless sand, when I was nudged to lower the pressure to 20 rr, and 24 front. No problem, even going uphill. It's blurry, but this is stuck going uphill on the dune at street pressure:

This is backing out at 20 lbs/24 lbs. pressure: note: the jeep on trailer were not pressure dropped.

back on the dirt road, this is what the deflection looks like with fronts @ 24 lbs. and rr's @ 20. I wouldn't want to drive to N.Y. this way, but I drove the 16K pounds of machinery uphill right over the blowsand. Don't ask how I got here, it's a long story.
