billtex, if you've been following the thread, the goal was not "financial gain." The goal was clearly laid out.
There is no way the fees and taxes are going to come out to $7500 on a $17.5K truck, so he is still going to have some liquid assets to work with on upgrading the camper.
The hard part will be getting the current camper sold for anywhere near what he's going to need to get out of it to upgrade. Depending on where you are located, you can take a real shellacking on the value of your camper. Where campers aren't popular, you'll have a limited market, so if time is of the essence, you have to sell cheap or hope the right $ucker comes along.
