No state I know will... When I was a TC newbie I went to N.Y.S. Dept. of Motor Vehicles, filled out a new reg. form and increased my GVWR to 13k from I believe ( 08 F350 SRW 6.4L 158" WB) 11,300 lb. with NO questions asked, the lady did tell me I would be paying more $ by doing so. Then again our DMV requires vehicles weighing more than 5500k to be registered commercially. Now, I can fill out another form MV-114 (7/11) and, add, in my case a 2980 lb.(dry) TC, and like magic I am now a passenger vehicle, go figure. K
