If you want to fill tires with an onboard compressor you will need one with a high percentage duty cycle. In short, Duty Cycle is the amount of time that a compressor can be run in a full cycle (typically one hour) that includes the compressor’s run time and rest time. Well our new to us 2016 TV doesn't have On Board Air, and I miss it already!!
On the 2001 Ram I installed a PacBrake exhaust brake, and it cam with a good 150 psi 12V compressor, used it for Tires, and running my brad drivers.
