The gearing is the killer here. You'll be tempted to floor it off the line to get moving with traffic and that's hard on the trans.
Going down the highway it will probably be in 4th often with lots of engine noise.
If you go ahead, make sure the trans doesn't hunt between gears when cruising. If it starts to go back and forth between them then shift down to the lower one and hold it there.
Since you don't have 4WD, it wouldn't be too expensive to replace the diff gears with something better, like 3.73's.
