Thanks for the help WoodGlue; I've never been too clever at setting up photos and such. I have been in touch with the Tin Can Tourists on Facebook, they have circulated the photos and no one has any ideas. The stove is dated 7/65 on the information plate on the back, so I suspect it's probably a 1965-66 model year.
What seems to be a clue is the door is hinged on the left side. In 90% of the photos I've seen the door hinges on the right. I wish I could show an interior photo as well, there is a definite diamond motif to the inside trim with a tall skinny diamond featuring prominently in several places.
I have done a little research into Canadian manufacturers but there is almost no information out there. The diamonds made me think of an early Triple E, but every one I've seen has Triple E decals over the windows.
Tomorrow I'm going over to the Reynolds-Alberta Museum, a prominent local auto and technology museum (here's a link if you're interested, it's a groovy place: http://www.history.alberta.ca/reynolds/). They have an enormous archive with all kinds of old trailer magazines and the like. Maybe I can find something if I do some digging, if I find anything I'll post it here.
