I’m ready to install a solar panel on my roof, but I am concerned. I am not gonna hit a beam and also I wanna make sure I’m not putting a screw into any electrical wiring. Any help going forward would be appreciated.

I’ve reached out to coachmen but their reply was, “We don’t give roof layouts to the public, only to your dealer”.
thats because they have an original design, but during the manufacturing of the units it changes from time to time, plus different workers run the harnesses a little different. if they give you a schematic and something goes wrong then they can be held liable
i get that, but a disclaimer could make that point moot,
Not really sure what kind of roof. But stud finder is going to be where I start for sure.
what kind of roof do you have? a good quality stud finder should work, I know mine will detect electrical also.
