We have the TST-507 with the flow through sensors. We had the rubber valve stems on the TV. We had a valve stem failure coming back from Florida earlier this year. The valve stem wore against the recess in the wheel due to vibration. I had to have a tire company come out and pop in a new rubber stem to get us back on the road.
So, we have changed out the rubber stems for the bolt on metal stems. The RV has the metal stems and we've had no issues with those stems.
The good news was that the TST system alerted to the slow decrease in tire pressure, the bad news was that the sensors caused the leak.
I really like the system, and we've had super service from TST.
