The shorter the stem the better---less leverage at the base.
The straight bolt-in stems will not work with the pictured rim, because the nut is too large to insert a socket around. (I have the same Keystone rims.) In future tire changes I'm going to try short 90-degree stem, since they have the nut on the inside.
Until then, a high-pressure snap-in should last longer than the typical low-pressure OEM stem.
