What better time to get him used to night sounds? For the rest of his life there will be sounds at night. He will quickly get used to what is normal and then not even notice it. You have to realize that you are raising him and he has to get used to your world or the rest of your life will be a living hell if you have to drastically change your life so as to not disturb him.
