Can I just say "kudos" for original thinking and using your wedding booty to get a TT instead of spending it on a honeymoon that will leave you with nothing more than a few photos! You guys are SMART. :)
That said, my encouragement is that you NOT look too far down the road in terms of your needs when buying right now. Get a TT that works for you and your wife and reconsider all that once children come along. Believe me...kids change EVERYTHING and it's next to impossible to anticipate exactly what those needs will be in terms of a TT. Find something well-made, and reasonably priced and HAVE FUN. Hey...half the fun of having a TT is looking around and kicking tires. (But then...I am a little weird in that I actually enjoy the buying process.) Got to as many RV dealers as you can, scour Craigslist for amazing deals on used units and DO YOUR RESEARCH. Google is your friend! :)
X2 on everything above. Especially the part where kids change everything. You don't know what you need for your kids until they come around. We thought our first TT would be fine for one kid. We were wrong and it cost us.
