We went from our 35' DP MH to a 35' TT. As we age the stairs in the 5W become another trip point. The height of the 5W also puts it more at risk for damage. Washing a much lower TT is easier. We don't carry a lot of extras and what we do carry fits in the truck bed. As far as price the Forest River 5W or TT are similar for same size and lay out. We have a 3 slide unit and we get a 14' wide living room when set up. we are very comfortable on long trips and stays up to 3 months at a time.
