TT Warranty question
Wanted to see if I could get everyone’s opinion on my current warranty situation. I took my trailer in a couple of weeks ago for some warranty work. A couple of minor issues and what could potentially be a larger issue of the screws being so loose on one side of the slide that they are backing out of the exterior and are less than finger tight. Dealer says everything is fixed under warranty, so I go and pick it up. Fast forward to now, and I’ve just returned from a camping trip and discovered that the issue with the slide screws was not fixed at all. Turns out that they replaced some interior screws, and did nothing to the exterior screws.
The problem is that my warranty expired within this two week window, and dealer says there is no way it will be covered even though the issue was identified before the expiration period. Is this accurate or should I try and contact Forest River on my own to see what can be done? Thanks for the help!
