You are right and I wish things could always be taken care of by the Manufacturer. Ford was lucky in this case though. With 95 cases filled on hesitation with the NHTSA. The first time there was a passing accident, fingers would all point to Ford for liability. And they did take over 2 years from the first complaints.

It's like politics. It isn't the act. It's the cover-up that gets the most publicity.

It seems as though Ram and GM have been guilty of a cover-up as of late.
