I'm not blindly loyal and do acknowledge preference for GM...if the
architectures were switched...I'd prefer the Ford...
Repeat, I like lower stressed and larger displacement with variable displacement
architectures. Not to say I don't like forced fed, just not for this application
with a small displacement towing heavy. Oh, both direct injected gasoline
That also then allows to force feed it later in it's life cycle and/or
for boy racers to 'enhance' their vehicles... Forced fed small
displacement would be tough to push the piston PSI higher by boy racers...
As to the inter-cooler condensation issue...that has been known to boy racers
since I started hot rodding in the 60's. It is the 'dew point' issue that has
relative humidity/temp/atmosphere/etc attributes (why it only happens in certain
conditions)
Boy Racers have been drilling a tiny hole at the low point of the 'cold' side
plenum for decades
