Our Ford dealer said the first deliveries are now coming in late January (a month's delay). But they aren't scheduling long beds or HD payload models until late February to mid-March due to "materials shortages." Doubtlessly that means "military-grade aluminum alloy" can't be delivered fast enough to meet the original production schedules.
And I have a feeling "product evaluation" likely means dealer demo models to generate sales, but that may not be available to be sold to customers. I do remember some GM "product evaluation" models in the far distant past (1950's and 1960's) that ended up being driven for years by company employees and dealer salesmen's wives.
Guess we don't have a choice other than "wait-and-see" at this point.
