"Military-grade" must be a little harder (pun!) to form than normal aluminum because I have a 60 year-old car with an aluminum hood, trunk lid, and doors. You would certainly think computer-controlled presses and robots could be taught to do what British Motors Corp. was capable of doing in 1955 with aircraft-grade aluminum sheet, belt-driven tools, and hand labor.
Incidentally, there has been not one dent anywhere in those BMC-made aluminum body parts in the nearly 30 years I have owned the car. Of course, it's not made out of recycled beer cans either because aluminum beer cans hadn't been invented yet in 1955!
