This thread is really getting carried away. Ford knows exactly what they are doing. They have built the country's best selling vehicle for many years, and they did not just show up one day and decide to start making them out of aluminum. GM and Ram may or may not follow, I don't know. Regardless, I think the fire example is pretty weak.
