Why? If I want my F-150 to sound like a V8, I'll buy a V8. And I've heard that some truck owners have objected to the Ram Ecodiesel because it doesn't sound like a diesel.
Makes no sense to me. Guess maybe I got enough loud car noise when I was a teenage hot rodder and drag racer. Or maybe it's just old age, where, after raising three sons, I prefer quiet. I actually like being inside a quiet car or truck. So I certainly hope you can turn that "V8" noise off!
