Double check your tv, it may be 12V already; If it has a power brick, then chances are that it's a 12V tv (all my tv's have been 12V); If so, you can get a 12v cigarette lighter adapter with which you can plug into a 12v receptacle.
Option #2 - get a small 300W inverter and run the tv off the inverter; I've not had good luck with this - my inverter seems to have a high cut-off point which senses the battery power and switches off.
