How about a full size van like the Chevy Express? It is about 224" long. Get a newer one with the 6L and 6 speed and you can enjoy towability with decent non-towing gas mileage as well. What size garage door do you have?
With all of the other chatter, I guess I am fortunate to have an 8' x 16' garage door and a garage that is 22' deep.
I have a newish cookie-cutter subdivision home with a small "standard" garage.
The left side has the water heater, so no trucks over there.
I did fit:
2003 Chevrolet 1500 extended cab with 6.5' bed with room to walk around it
later. . .
2005 Chevrolet 2500HD crew cab 4x4. . . I could still use the door into the house, but I couldn't close the garage door until I was on the right side of the truck. I had mere inches to spare. The dealership is close enough that they let me test drive it home and see if it fit. I told them getting it in the garage was the final selling point. It just barely fit, but it did. The only catch was I had to open the garage door to go around it just to get a screwdriver off of my work bench!
later. . .
I bought the TV in my signature and knew it was shorter than the 2500HD crew cab, so figured it would go in just fine. WRONG. The 3500 van is too tall. I can get 75% of the way in, but the rear is too tall to get the back tires over the bump. I'd need to remove about 3" of facing and it's not worth it.
So, now the van is in the driveway and popup is in the garage, which is actually nice. The camper should last a long time, I can get around it with the garage door closed, and I'm not paying storage fees!
