Trucks are not all the same or even close. I was set to buy a GM 3500 Dually Crew 4X4 with an 8ft. bed. It was 5 inches too long for the garage in our town home. Ended up with the same style of Dodge and it fits with about 4 inches to spare. Dodge is shorter by quite a bit. The height of a Dodge 4X4 Is higher and the sunroof JUST clears the door when the sunroof is open (up position).
Parking the truck so the windshield just touches the tennis ball hanging from the ceiling means the garage door will close. Go much further and you're in the house. Drinking and parking don't happen at our place. LOL
My buddy leaves his Porsche convertible outside in the very wet winter while he stores a few thousand dollars worth of junk piled everywhere in his double garage. Never could figure out that way of thinking.
