+1 on height issue. Standard doors will NOT accept the new 4X4's. Even some two wheel drives are tight on height.
Full sized trucks/SUVs are actually getting lower to improve aerodynamics/fuel economy as well as commonize bumper heights for collisions. My 2003 F-150 had less clearance than my 2011 3/4 ton Suburban.
Start with a tape measure of your garage floor length with door closed. Not all "standard" sized garages are the same size. Mine is 22', my friend's is 20'. I highly recommending test drives and test garage parking during your research/shopping. Just because the numbers say it have 6" of extra space does not mean you want to park within 3" of each wall every time. I highly recommend backup sensors/camera and backing into the garage. ;)
Full sized pickups are all very close in overall length for the same cab/bed sizes.
Since you have a minivan, I assume you want 3-rows for a TV. I highly recommend the 3/4 ton Suburbans. We replaced our minivan with one as primary family vehicle as well as vacation/tow vehicle. While it does not have all the conveniences available as current generation minivans for families, it has served our family's needs for 2 years and 34k mils. We love it! It's got the capability to handle nearly any 7k dry TT with ease. And it fits fine in our garage. We cannot open the full hatch with darage door closed, but the glass only access.
