TVs that are made for RV use have conformal coating on their circuitry. It protects from moisture and climate changes, plus vibration. Jensen makes several models for specific RV use and thats why a lot of RV manufacturers use Jensen TVs. I have one that is 5 years old and still works great. I bought an RCA with built in DVD player and that failed after about a year. The Jensen has the conformal coating and the RCA did not. I am replacing the RCA with the same older style Jensen model that I found on Ebay for $139 plus free shipping (NOS). It also has the speaker in the front unlike so many of the newer small units that have the speakers in the rear, thus giving it much better sound quality.
