Two wheel drive or 4x4?
Looking at purchasing a new tow vehicle and considering the pros and cons of two wheel vs four wheel drive. Which do you have and why did you make that choice?

Based on my observations, urban asphalt parking lots are the places where 4wd is really needed. Construction sites, not so much. Words like Max, Allison, Four Wheel Drive, Super Duty, Extend, all appeal to the middle aged desk jockeys of the world. I have owned 4wd vehicles for play, love them. Towed a travel trailer for fifty thousand miles over the last ten years and did not need anything more than my 2wd with limited slip differential. Of course, I grew up on the farm and worked construction most of my life, so I know how to manage my resources. I know that some people need 4wd and others want it. Glad it is available for both.
