Curious- Im pretty sure I could not put (fit) a standard sized toilet, let alone really want the weight of porcelain, in our TC. Having never looked Im not even sure if a standard off the shelf seat would fit? It is a little small. Uncormfortable but functions (beats looking for tree or public facilities.
That and how the lid closes to keep seat dry. At least in our wet bath-a standard (house) seat would also require wiping toilet down- eewwww, well not really, use separate towel or throw a bag over toilet when showering...just other thoughts that are conjured up when replacing seat? I already hear Margaret yelling at me...
