Great report. We have the '12 version of the same truck and average about 1 MPG better, but we are 1,000 lbs less than you are and like Mike we also have the 3.73 gears. Mikes was a SRW as I recall though, and both of ours are DRW which probably costs 1 MPG. I think between us and others we have pretty much established that the MPG range is 9-12 hauling a TC depending on gears, TC size, and rear wheel configuration.
I'm wondering how the Ford 6.2 compares to the newer Ram 6.4. I have seen some positive 6.4 reports on the Towing forum, but nothing specific to TC hauling.
