Thank you for this review of the F350 6.2 hauling a heavy camper.
My "take away" from your review is that a 6.2 gasser with the 4.3 axle is a better, wiser choice for the majority of truck camper owners. The 6.2 with the 4.3 axle is perfectly capable, well suited for, and safer for hauling a heavy camper.
The 6.2 gasser will surpass the diesel in "down stream" maintenance costs.
Obviously, the 6.2 gasser provides a softer hit on the wallet.
