That's why I need the experience from people with these new gas rigs. I used to tow over the mountains with a 4-cylinder that was very capable due to gearing, but not very comfortable. Every move and shift had to be calculated because making a mistake cost you 10 mph until the road leveled out. I don't mind lumbering up a long or steep slope, but I don't want to be mentally exhausted or physically fatigued after driving through the mountains that I enjoy.
