You're exactly who the gas motor makes sense for. You average 12.5k miles a year. You'd never see the benefit of new diesel mileage. I've got two 3500 mile trips to Colorado and just over 11000 miles on my truck since I bought it in early April. I'd kick myself all the time if I'd have ordered my truck with the big Hemi.
