Don't give up on the air suspension. It's the greatest thing since the invention of condoms!! It gives ride comfort of a European luxury car. I put 1600# in the bed & it "rose to the occasion" (don't tell the weight police but I'm only rated for about 900# cargo). While driving I couldn't detect I had a load of any kind back there. there have been many temp moratoriums on the suspension system since it's inception last year. Heard it was parts shortage from vendor but you may have more insight than I. You can change the configuration of your truck right up till build date. Keep in touch with spp or your buds in warren for updates & contact your dealer when you get the green flag.
