I keep hearing that, but around here in Ontario there's a good 7-10K Can$ premium with an equivalent F250. And the F250 with a 6.2L V8 wouldn't get anywhere near the F150 HD EcoB mileage when unloaded.
And, yes, I'm hoping that when Ford moves to Al bodies in Superduties, we'll also see an EcoBoost of some sort. Presumably by then they'll have been around long enough and proven their worth to most V8 die-hards.
But before that happens we'll see the Nissan with the 5L Cummins. If they put that in something close to a "3/4 ton" truck with decent payload, it could be mighty fine tow truck. (Still wish RAM had put it in their 2500 though).
