A lot of folks are getting the problem fixed with a software update. Those that are hosed have trucks at dealers that decided that some piece of hardware was also needed, and since this is the first model year for the truck, RAM is struggling with spare parts inventory. My estimate of the situation is that if that latter group had just done the software update, most of them would have been fixed.
I went for my first oil change a couple days ago. To my very great surprise it turns out the first 4 oil changes are free. A software flash took care of the CELs.
Got 35gal of diesel yesterday (I have an aux tank) for $3.33/gal. $3.43 - .10 discount for spending $100 at Kroger. $3.33 for diesel, that's just awesome. Woohoo!
Hello ranger. I didn't think the aux tank was available with the Ed. Is yours an aftermarket unit or am I wrong on availability of factory unit? Thought about getting one to take advantage of cheap diesel when I found it. But I got 665 miles on my last tank so I'm not sure if it would be worth the hassle & expense of adding one.
