It's a small aux tank in the bed. Not OEM. With my old F-250 I got used to having an aux tank that allowed me to tow quite a ways w/o stopping. When I'm heading to an event, I'm kind of in a hurry so it annoys me to have to stop for fuel. For the Ecodiesel tho, I had to downsize the aux tank because a couple hundred lbs of diesel in the bed...nothing to the F-250, was a big deal for the class trailing cargo capacity of the Ecodiesel.
It's not really a logical issue. If I was really in a hurry I'd drive faster. Altho I want to get to the event in a hurry, I'm such a cheapskate that drag going up by the square of velocity keeps my speed down.
