On a side note, I read in a recent Motor Trend that their long-term 2013 Ram 1500 4X4 Hemi averaged 15.6 mpg over 30,000 miles, and their long-term 2012 Ford F150 4X4 Ecoboost averaged 14.4 mpg over 30,000 miles. That is a test using various lead-foot drivers running it hard for a year. Nothing to do with Ecodiesel, but I still thought it was interesting.
A good friend of mine has had two ecoboosts and he loved his last one and his current one, but he's never gotten anywhere near advertised mileage. We went hunting together last weekend and he was at 14 and change on that particular tank. Both are/were crew cab long box 4wd trucks. He says about the best he ever does is around 18, but generally he's closer to 15.
