Bias is fairly predictable based on peoples purchases. That being said, I don't own an Ecoboost...... ;-)
Nope. The conversation, at that stage anyway, was about mileage vs HP, diesels vs gassers.
Costs were not being considered just then.
But you're right, in some parts of the world diesel is more expensive. But not where I live. And the diesel engine is always more expensive to begin with, and there's the ongoing cost. I suspect for many it's more a "life-style" choice thn a financial one.
